Jennifer Cooper, President & Accounts Manager
Born and raised here in Boulder, Jennifer has worked for Matrix for over 20 years as the Accounts Manager and has recently become President of Matrix Gardens. Having been in the small business world for over 35 years, she brings her leadership experience to our company and knowledge of management derived from running other landscape and accounting businesses. She always adds a touch of humor to the number-crunching and is here to assist us on our new path as our new President. Her goals are to create an atmosphere within Matrix Gardens that promotes support and growth and provides our customers with sustainable landscapes that bring them joy for years to come.
Mackenzie Ehrenberg, Crew Lead
Mackenzie has installed landscapes for over 10 years. He has extensive experience in all phases of landscape installation from site preparation to a wide variety of masonry and irrigation – including trouble-shooting irrigation systems. He has extensive plant knowledge. When Mack is not in the field, he plays electric bass for a variety of local metal bands.
Carly Harrison, Plant Coordinator
Carly’s passion for plants and the natural world began as a young child but truly blossomed when she moved to Colorado from New England to attend an Herbal Medicine certification program. From there she began her 20 year-long career in Horticulture, Permaculture, Professional Gardening, Horticulture Management, Garden & Seasonal Container Design and most recently Interior Floral Design.

Alison Peck, Founder
It is with great sadness that we share the loss of Alison Peck, owner and creator of Matrix Gardens. Our dear Alison suffered a major stroke and passed away on April 15, 2021. It is a significant loss to the family, the company, the community, and the world in which she lived and created regenerative landscapes that benefit the Earth. We are honoring her by building the landscapes and designs she loved.
The employees at Matrix Gardens have worked alongside Alison for many years; she shared her values of beauty, knowledge, and sustainability with each of us: these were the pillars of her company. Her legacy will live on in all of us and the staff of Matrix Gardens that she believed in, hired, trusted, and mentored to bring her visions to life. We will continue moving through this with grace and ease, and we thank you for your support as we navigate these new waters.
Thank you for being a part of Alison’s vision that will carry on for generations to come.
